Bloom Where You Are Planted

You’ve heard this quote before, “Bloom where you are planted”.

Countless times in the past, I’ve complained about some “current situation or circumstance”, just to realize (when it is over) that I needed that experience to launch me to something better down the road.  Can you think of a time that has happened to you?  Hindsight is always 20/20.

The situations we find ourselves in can sometimes plain ole SUCK.  Crappy conditions or even worse crappy people for that matter.  Yet, if we can remember to make the best of whatever state we are in, while striving for something better we can see it’s possible to bloom where we are planted.  We can’t always see the big picture for our lives or how things can come together for good.  That’s ok.  We were never promised a crystal ball and we aren’t in control of the timing in our lives either.  However, we can learn from just about every situation we have had (good or bad) and find a way to put it to use.

Sometimes we go through things because we aren’t as ready as we think we are for whatever it is that we think we can handle.  Ego check? 😉 Gut check? 🤗 You and I will get there, it just takes some time to become refined and polished.  When the time is right you will catapult to your destination, so remember to trust the journey and the process that was made just for you.  Don’t look to your left or right in comparison – keep your focus on yourself.  Compete against yourself to be better than you have ever been.  It doesn’t matter what the guy or gal next to you is doing.  We are all on our own path.  What is for you is for you, don’t worry about missing out!

I want to encourage you today to focus on your journey and destination.  Try your best to enjoy the ride.  You never know…you might be experiencing something now that is setting you up for something fabulous down the road.

Until next time.

Be Polished.  Be Alluring.  Be Elegant.  Be You.
